Earn your Pack 485 Leave No Trace (LNT) badge
Scouts, work with your den leaders to discover a strong sense of self, develop positive values, and gain an understanding of your important role in caring for wildlife and natural resources. Finish all 4 requirements to earn the Leave No Trace badge.
1. Memorize the 7 LNT principles

- Choose the right path
- Trash your trash
- Leave what you find
- Be careful with fire
- Respect wildlife
- Be kind to other visitors
2. Complete LNT activity sheet
3. Sign LNT pledge card
Promise to follow the LNT principles and sign the pledge card. Keep the signed pledge card in your left uniform pocket at all times.
4. Create a den LNT poster
LNT poster example:
Get a 22in x 28in construction paper from the Pack 485 office, then work as a group (no more than 6 scouts per group) to create an LNT poster. You can include the seven LNT principles, create a fun LNT puzzle, and/or share an LNT story on the poster.
