Meetings & Events

Meetings and Events

我们通常每隔一星期聚会一次,一般是在周六下午2:00在基督之家第五家聚会,但是有时候我们也会外出野餐、夜宿或者露营。

Pack 485 convenes regularly throughout the school year, typically gathering once every two to three weeks. Our primary meeting spot is the Home of Christ Church in Cupertino. In addition to our indoor sessions, we also organize a range of exciting outdoor activities, including picnics, sleepovers, and camping trips.

Welcome to your new adventure! Your time volunteering in Cub Scouting will be rewarding and fun, and the information here will help you get off to the right start. With the proper training, resources, and enthusiasm, you have the ability to make a positive difference in the lives of Cub Scouts.
We have pack meetings roughly every other week. You’ll have about 30-40 minutes for you to run the den meeting right after the pack meeting. In addition, it is recommended that you meet monthly with your den separately at your home, at HOC5 church, or at a location for the event you choose.

The Den Meeting is the most important part of Cub Scouting. It is where Cub Scouts build friendships, work together to learn new things, and progress towards earning their common badge of rank. Serving as a Den Leader is providing an opportunity to make a positive life long impact on your child and others in the den.

2. Lab Activity

Scouts work in small groups or individually to complete an immersive lab activity and hands-on investigation where they will practice science process skills such as measurement and data analysis.

All Scouts complete a pre-flight safety and training class. Each Scout gets a turn one-on-one flying with a certified world-class iFLY Flight Instructor.

We pull the whole experience together with a grand finale. Scouts make predictions about how objects will fly based on their size, weight, and shape. They will be amazed to see how water flies and thrilled to watch advanced flying skills.
